Privacy
Lá e Lô keeps as little as possible about the people who play.
Playing with bots and with friends
No account needed. Your device keeps the game in progress, your preferences (bot speed, sound and language) and a number that only lets the online table know it’s you. That number stays on your device and on the table’s server, and other players never see it.
Championship and leaderboard
To play the championship, you sign in with your Google account. From Google, Lá e Lô reads only the account code, a number that identifies the account, and stores that code scrambled, in a way that can’t be traced back to your account. Your Google name, email and photo are not stored.
What is stored:
- the scrambled account code;
- the nickname you choose;
- your points for each week;
- the history of your championships: placing, animal and who your partner was;
- how many times you won each type of championship (the trophies on your profile).
During the championship, others only see your animal. Your nickname appears on the leaderboard and when your team is knocked out or wins. Your profile, with the trophies and the history, is visible only to you.
What Lá e Lô doesn’t do
No ads, no trackers, and it doesn’t sell or hand over your data to anyone.
Deleting your account
In the game, in Settings, the “Delete my account” button deletes the code, the nickname, the points, the history and the trophies.
Where it runs
The site and the game server run on Cloudflare.
